TV Writer Chat
The founders of #Scriptchat have created a TV-specific chat on Twitter to talk about various topics related to television writing. Check out the website, http://www.tvwriterchat.com/, or follow the chat on twitter, @TVWriterChat.
#TheGreyBox IRC Chatroom
Alex over at A TV Calling has set-up a TV Writers Chatroom at www.thegreybox.net. I participated in the inaugural chat (Friday, November 12th) and it was a lot of fun. I met a few fellow aspiring writers and even got to know some twitter friends a little better. The chatroom will be open 24/7 so feel free to pop in anytime and start a discussion. I also suggest you follow Alex on twitter to get updates on specific dates and times for conversation topics.
The details for the chatroom can be found here: http://www.tv-calling.com/thegreybox-is-here/ It’s really easy and you don’t even have to sign up for anything; just go to www.thegreybox.net, enter a nickname and begin chatting. How easy is that?
Another benefit of the chat is another avenue for script swapping. If you’ve been to my blog before, you know that I offer to swap sitcom scripts with pretty much anyone. Well, if you’re looking for more than just me to swap with, The Grey Box is a good place to find other writers to exchange scripts with.
Note: Occasionally the server for the chat will be down, due to outside circumstances. If the server is down, just come back later, as it’s rarely down for more than a day or so at a time.

Hey, thanks for the TV Writer Chat shout out. We appreciate it.
No, no…Thank YOU for setting up the chat!
Lets swap scripts!
